Yep, yep, yep. Apparently I've been growing UP! I had my annual physical with my PCP today and they measured my height at 5' 1-1/2"! Now, if you've been 5' 3/4" all of your adult life, like I have, this is a big deal! I was so surprised the nurse said, "I can measure you again," and I replied, "No, I'll take 5' 1-1/2"!" I was standing tall, but I didn't have shoes on and I wasn't on my toes.
This is a good day!
Oh! I'll tell my wife! We were having a discussion today about whether she is actually really little or more medium-sized (she's 5'1 AND THREE-QUARTERS. That part is important.) so I'll let her know that maybe she's gone up in the world and to have the doctor check next time! :)
